The IBHI Toran is a contemporary interpretation of traditional Indian doorway décor, thoughtfully designed as a fusion of heritage symbolism and modern materials.
Handcrafted using vegan leather elephants in shades of red, tan brown, and orange, the toran celebrates the elephant motif, a symbol of wisdom, protection, and prosperity in Indian culture. Each elephant features a textured ghunghroo bead at the trunk, adding subtle detail and movement.
The motifs are attached to a braided moli / kalawa (nadachadi) base, traditionally associated with sacred protection and auspicious beginnings. Finished with elegant brass bells, the toran creates a gentle sound that enhances the welcoming energy of any space.
