Kanku Pagla
As the new bride is considered the avatar of Goddess Laxmi, the new family takes her feet imprints. The bride dips her feet in vermilion water and walks on the white cloth. This is considered one of the most important rituals. This tradition is followed for little girls also.
We have made a humble attempt to glorify and preserve this tradition forever, in a traditional way.
This Platter has a plain white circular disc of 7 inches which is wrapped in white cloth, the total diameter of the platter is 10 inches. The backside is a flat disc of 8 inches basal diameter wrapped in our house-print. The silk thread for hanging is 0.5 inches long, attached within the disc.
If you already have a fabric with the kanku pagla imprinted on it in the ceremony, we can help you make this a forever memory on the platter. You can send the piece of fabric to us via courier to our production facility and we can make this platter. Please get in touch with us on +91 9978814653 for further details.
PACKAGING: Just how we make this IBHI with love, we pack them with love ultra pro max! We cut silk fabric and protective packaging material into a six petal flower and close it into a bundle using tasseled silk thread.
TEAM IBHI'S MESSAGE FOR YOU: What we have mentioned in here in words is simply 9% of how much we think when we design a UTILITY+DESIGN product at IBHI, we visualize and soak in more than what we can express. We hope this IBHI is able to justify the effort and skill of those 300+ women artists who have collectively made this handcrafted beauty.
IBHI's NO-TOUCH POlICY: We might seem unfriendly but here's why! When IBHIs leave their dispatch unit to make place in a new home, they are sent in the most pristine form and we very strongly believe in first ownership, with the ideology that the IBHI has been only created for you. Hence, we don't have a refund or return option available on our policy list. We try our best to ensure safety while packing our IBHIs, but certain logistics mishaps are external and considering them we have created a room for exchanging the IBHI for the same IBHI when damaged during transit, for availing the exchange in case of damage, please get in touch with our team on +91 99788 14653 within 7 days of receiving the order.
